Beauty Revival
The same character.
A lighter foundation.

Beauty & aesthetics / WordPress to AstroA distinctive clinic.
A custom WordPress site.
Beauty Revival is an aesthetics clinic in the Waterlooville area. The first stage of our work was a fully customised WordPress theme and website, tailored to the business and the way it presented its treatments.
That build established the layout and visual identity the clinic wanted to keep. It also supported the booking and product functionality described in Samantha’s testimonial from the original project.

As the requirements became clearer, WordPress offered more day-to-day editing flexibility than the clinic needed. Updates were relatively minor, and Spidrweb would be managing them going forward.
The next step was to retain the website’s character while replacing its underlying platform. With bookings handled by a dedicated clinician booking service, the public website could focus on treatment information, navigation and the route into booking.
The decision was specific to this business: a managed content workflow and occasional changes made a pre-built website a practical fit.
A familiar experience.
Built again underneath.
Spidrweb converted the website to Astro, preserving the layout, look and branding from the WordPress build. The work also improved navigation so visitors could explore the treatment information and find the next step.
The public pages are generated ahead of time and served through Cloudflare Pages. They no longer rely on PHP or a WordPress database to assemble each page request. This changes the hosting and maintenance model while keeping the design recognisable.
The migration included redirects from old treatment URLs, along with checks of desktop and mobile layouts, navigation and booking links. A protected contact form provides a separate enquiry route.
Specialist bookings.
Managed website updates.
Booking links take visitors to the clinic’s dedicated booking platform. The website explains the treatments and helps people find their way; the booking service handles the appointment journey.
Spidrweb manages website updates going forward. Beauty Revival can request changes without needing to maintain a WordPress installation or operate a content-management system for occasional edits.
The result is a clear division of responsibilities: the clinic focuses on its content and appointments, the booking platform provides the appointment tools, and Spidrweb looks after the website.
Less platform to maintain.
More of the site they wanted.
The Astro website is now live. Spidrweb reports a faster experience than the previous WordPress version and has observed increasing traffic since launch.
The concrete architectural change is the removal of the public pages’ PHP and WordPress database dependency. The design remains familiar, navigation has been improved, and future content changes sit within Spidrweb’s managed update workflow.
This project shows how a website can evolve without losing its identity. The original custom build created the experience; the Astro conversion gives that experience a foundation better suited to the clinic’s current needs.
“Spidrweb has been instrumental in bringing our vision for Beauty Revival to life. They built a fully customised WordPress theme and site tailored to our needs, incorporating a seamless booking system and eCommerce functionality that makes it easy for our clients to schedule treatments and purchase products. Ongoing support has been invaluable, ensuring everything runs smoothly. We highly recommend Spidrweb to any business looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and creative web partner.”
